Anti-Coagulation Clinic
When it comes to the use of the anti-coagulant drug warfarin, most commonly known by its brand name Coumadin®, safety is our top concern. The Anti-Coagulation Clinic at St. Luke's MSTI is dedicated to:
- Managing patients' warfarin dosage
- Monitoring their blood's clotting ability
- Providing critical information and education about drug and food interactions
- Supporting patients in the use of this complex therapy
The Anti-Coagulation Clinic is located at our Boise cancer center. Nurse practitioners work closely with the patient's oncologist/physician to ensure that warfarin dosage and blood levels are kept in a safe, therapeutic range for the patient's medical condition.
