Orthopedics

	John W. Howar, MD is an orthopedic surgeon and hand specialist who has been in practice in the Magic Valley for more than 33 years. He performs arthroscopic surgery, joint replacement surgery, and all types of hand surgery including tendon and nerve problems. He treats all aspects of orthopedics, including fractures, lacerations, arthritis, and trauma. Dr. Howar is board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and a member of the American Association of Orthopedic Surgeons. He earned his medical degree from the University of California, San Francisco, where he also completed his internship and residency. He completed his hand surgery fellowship at the University of Colorado Medical Center.
	Randal L. Wraalstad, DPM specializes in foot and ankle surgery, and has been in practice in the Magic Valley since 1996. He treats all podiatric issues, including deformities, infections, ankle and foot injuries, ingrown toenails, bunions, hammertoes, bone spurs, heel spurs, neuroma, gout, walking problems, plantar fasciitis, and neuropathy, and provides comprehensive diabetic foot care. Dr. Wraalstad earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago in 1994, and completed his residency at the Waldo Podiatric Residency Training Program in Seattle.
	Anna Hawker, FNP is a family nurse practitioner who treats patients of all ages for general medical conditions including both acute and chronic illnesses, and provides preventive care. She also specializes in clinical orthopedic care, and assists several surgeons in the operating room. Anna earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in 1995, and her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Idaho State University in 2005.

Patients are seen by appointment. Please notify us if you will be late; you may be asked to reschedule.

Medication Refills

If you need a refill of any medication, please contact your pharmacy and they will notify us. Allow 24-48 hours to process your refill request.
