Sports Medicine Symposium

The Third Annual Sports Medicine Symposium is geared toward coaches, athletic trainers, physical therapists, educators and students addressing injuries and dysfunction in athletes. Course work will include paths for pre-professionals and professionals and some topics covered include: Spinal Imaging for the Non-Spine Specialist, Cardiac Injuries and Sudden Death in Athletes, Orthopedic Emergencies in Athletics, Medical Management of the Concussed Athlete: A Team Approach, Life-Span Approach for the Female Athlete, Motivational Interviewing in the Female Athlete Triad, and many more. Undergraduate and graduate credit will be available.
