St. Luke's Magic Valley Health Foundation's
Festival
of Trees
|
The Festival of Trees takes place Wednesday, December 1 through Saturday, December 4, 2010. During Festival week, business people and individuals from around the community donate fully-decorated trees, wreaths and holiday décor to the St. Luke's Magic Valley Health Foundation. Each piece of donated holiday décor is displayed to the public during the Festival's General Exhibition. Festival guests bid and buy these donated items throughout the week; the Festival's "It's a Wonderful Life" deliver fully-decorated trees and wreaths to the purchasers' businesses and homes across the Valley the following week. Money raised during the Festival benefits the Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit currently under construction at the new St. Luke's Magic Valley campus. Gala Celebration Gala ticket-holders get the first peek at the Festival trees and décor – and they're the first to place their bids! The Gala officially kicks off the Festival with a formal gourmet dinner, a Live Auction and dancing.
