Check Out St. Luke's Libraries - Natural Standard
The St. Luke’s Health System Libraries (Boise and Magic Valley) are offering access to a great online information resource called Natural Standard. Natural Standard was founded by clinicians and researchers to provide evidence-based Complementary & Alternative Medicine (CAM) information. Natural Standard is impartial in scope and features an evidence-based grading system adapted from the US Preventive Services Taskforce. The information grading process reflects the levels of available scientific evidence that support the efficacy of any given CAM therapy, food, herb or supplement. Natural Standard also provides an Interaction Checker which can identify potential concern for drug, herbal or food interactions. You can check out Natural Standard at http://stlukesid.naturalstandard.com/. For further questions, please contact your Library staff. |
