newest and most comprehensive medical transport program.
The helicopters and airplane are airborne critical-care units
that provide the highly trained professionals and extensive
equipment you need in the event of a medical emergency. We
also feature state-of-the-art ground transport vehicles for
specialty team response. Air St. Lukes also
features experienced specialty teams dedicated exclusively
to the special care needs of newborn, maternal, pediatric
and cardiac patientsan important benefit for infants
and children, pregnant women and people with heart disease.

The Air St. Lukes program includes:
- Integrated helicopter, airplane and ground transport service that allows us the versatility to offer advanced medical care and rapid response for a wide variety of needs and situations.
- Highly trained and experienced flight crews and medical teams that include nurses and paramedics who specialize in all types of medical emergencies.
- A maternal-child transport van specially equipped to respond to emergency transport needs of women with high-risk pregnancies, as well as premature or critically ill newborns.
- Emergency scene response as well as interhospital transport when medically indicated.
- A 24-hour dispatch center staffed by experienced transport specialists.

Three Transport Methods
The versatile fleet of transport craft (helicopter, airplane and specialty teams vehicles) helps provide the best possible patient outcomes. Working with our dispatch center, referring and receiving physicians match the appropriate method of transport to each patients specific needs.
Helicopter transport of the critically ill is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year (weather conditions permitting) within a 150-mile radius of Boise. The Bell 430, a helicopter with a proven safety record, is used to perform inter-hospital transfers as well as emergency scene transport in conjunction with local EMS agencies. Each helicopter team consists of an experienced pilot and a highly trained flight nurse and paramedic.

aviation services and owns and operates Air St. Luke's
helicopters. Turbo Air, Inc. is the FAR Part 135 Certificate
Holder providing aviation services and owns and operates
the airplane used by Air St. Luke's.
