Air St. Luke’s provides specialty teams dedicated exclusively to the specific needs of newborn, maternal, pediatric, or cardiac patients—an important benefit for infants and children, pregnant women, and people with heart disease.

Maternal/Infant and Child Transport
The expert team at Air St. Luke's provides safe and rapid transport for expectant mothers, newborn infants, and children who need skilled care from throughout Idaho and a multi-state region. Both our aircraft and maternal/child ground ambulance carry highly trained registered nurses and respiratory therapists to care for patients during transport until they are secure at St. Luke's Boise Medical Center or St. Luke's Children's Hospital, in our Labor and Delivery Unit, Newborn Intensive Care Unit (NICU), or Pedicatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).

Our Mission

  • To provide safe and rapid transport of patients to appropriate care.
  • To provide access to a full range of efficient health care and related services, offered through a regional system.

CAMTS Accreditation
The Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems (CAMTS) is dedicated to improving the quality of patient care and safety of the transport environment for services providing rotor wing, fixed wing, and ground transport systems. Air St. Luke’s has been accredited since 2005.
